Point style nooverlapping

Hi,

I know that we have Overlapping rule property for TextSttyle for not showing overlapped texts…

Same way, is there any way to do for PointStyle features… I wanted this in my application.

Please help me in this…

Thanks
Ashok

Hi Ashok,

I guess what you wanted is the image for your point looks not so crowded.

We don’t have a property like OverlappingRule for PointStyle, that’s because by default the PointStyle is nearly a point and it don’t have this problem like label.

The solution should have some ways as below:

  1. Choose small image for point, so each point won’t place too many area on screen

  2. Adjust the render level, if the points are so concentrated, maybe display them in a high zoomlevel will make it looks bad, so just render them on lower zoomlevel, or just shows parts of them in high zoomlevel

  3. Use our ClusterPointStyle, which will show the concentrated points just like one point in high zoomlevel

Wish that’s helpful.
