WmsRasterLayer - System.Net.WebException

MapSuite Team,

Today I moved an application using WpfDesktopEdition V10 to a Windows R2012 Server. I connected to one of my WMS Providers and was panning/zooming when all of a sudden it crashed. Below is as much information as I have and I realize it is not much. So far I have encountered this exception only one time. I have continued using the application and have not encountered the exception again.

I have been using this same application on a Windows-10 machine and have never encountered this error.

Have you seen this before? Anything you’d recommend that I check for on the machine?

Thanks,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

It looks the information in your exception hadn’t told us what’s the problem, but I found that’s should related with the exception mode.

So please try to modify the exception mode to DrawException instead of ThrowException and see what’s the status.

And you mentioned that works well in Win10 but not in WinServer, I guess that’s related with the user security, because server version set strict rule, you can try to assign higher level right to the account and application folder.

Regards,

Ethan
