# Can not find the geometry column

What&nbsp;would&nbsp;cause&nbsp;a&nbsp;"Can&nbsp;not&nbsp;find&nbsp;the&nbsp;geometry&nbsp;column.&nbsp;"&nbsp;exception?

I&nbsp;get&nbsp;it&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;try&nbsp;to&nbsp;open&nbsp;the&nbsp;MsSql2008FeatureLayer.

sql2008Layer.Open();

I&nbsp;verified&nbsp;that&nbsp;my&nbsp;SQL&nbsp;Server&nbsp;2008&nbsp;table&nbsp;does&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;geometry&nbsp;column.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;thought&nbsp;at&nbsp;first&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;spatial&nbsp;index&nbsp;but&nbsp;removing&nbsp;it&nbsp;doesn't&nbsp;help.

I'm&nbsp;using&nbsp;the&nbsp;4.0&nbsp;libraries.
