Is there a guide for how to deploy a web application to a server? My development environment is 32 bit but the server is 64 bit. Does this make a difference?

I have seen a lot of talk about licensing. Right now I am simply trying to deploy the application to our development IIS server. I understand that this is covered under my developer license. When it come to delivering this web application to my customers, who will also need their own server) will they require yet another license?

I found the MapSuiteWebEditionServer msi. It installs to an x86 directory. Does this mean that there is no x64 version of the web server files?

Charles,

No difference for deploying on 32 bit and 64 bit machines. Both of them are just required “Deployment License“, which is different from “Development License”. Anyone who wants to deploy your application also needs their own “Deployment License”.
The “MapSuiteWebEditionServer.msi ” is a kind of tool to assist you preparing the deployment environment including “Deployment License”. It can apply to X64 and X32 machines, and there is no X64 version.

Thanks,
Johnny
