# Error building rtg file with World Map Kit files

When&nbsp;attempting&nbsp;to&nbsp;use&nbsp;MapSuite&nbsp;Routing&nbsp;Explorer&nbsp;with&nbsp;MNlkaA40.shp&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;world&nbsp;map&nbsp;kit&nbsp;5.0&nbsp;files&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;getting&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;error:&nbsp;&nbsp;

What&nbsp;do&nbsp;I&nbsp;need&nbsp;to&nbsp;do&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;the&nbsp;routing&nbsp;index&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;mn&nbsp;level&nbsp;40&nbsp;roads?

Hi&nbsp;Jake,&nbsp;  
&nbsp;&nbsp;  
&nbsp;We&nbsp;have&nbsp;tried&nbsp;to&nbsp;build&nbsp;the&nbsp;Rtg&nbsp;files&nbsp;by&nbsp;using&nbsp;&nbsp;MapSuite&nbsp;Routing&nbsp;Explorer&nbsp;with&nbsp;MNlkaA40.shp&nbsp;under&nbsp;both&nbsp;decimal&nbsp;degree&nbsp;and&nbsp;meter.&nbsp;Both&nbsp;of&nbsp;them&nbsp;can&nbsp;be&nbsp;generated&nbsp;without&nbsp;any&nbsp;exception.&nbsp;So&nbsp;would&nbsp;you&nbsp;please&nbsp;get&nbsp;the&nbsp;latest&nbsp;version&nbsp;for&nbsp;MapSuite&nbsp;Routing&nbsp;Explorer&nbsp;&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;try.&nbsp;  
&nbsp;&nbsp;  
&nbsp;BTW,&nbsp;is&nbsp;there&nbsp;any&nbsp;other&nbsp;shape&nbsp;files&nbsp;in&nbsp;world&nbsp;map&nbsp;kit&nbsp;encountering&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;issue&nbsp;or&nbsp;just&nbsp;this&nbsp;one&nbsp;have&nbsp;the&nbsp;issue?&nbsp;if&nbsp;the&nbsp;MNlkaA40.shp&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;only&nbsp;one&nbsp;encountering&nbsp;this&nbsp;issue,&nbsp;I&nbsp;guess&nbsp;we&nbsp;can&nbsp;send&nbsp;the&nbsp;rtg&nbsp;file&nbsp;for&nbsp;you&nbsp;via&nbsp;email.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;That&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;only&nbsp;file&nbsp;that&nbsp;had&nbsp;the&nbsp;issue,&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;not&nbsp;sure&nbsp;what&nbsp;was&nbsp;wrong&nbsp;with&nbsp;it.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;reinstalled&nbsp;the&nbsp;entire&nbsp;world&nbsp;mapkit&nbsp;again&nbsp;and&nbsp;this&nbsp;time&nbsp;the&nbsp;file&nbsp;was&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;generated.&nbsp;&nbsp;If&nbsp;I&nbsp;run&nbsp;into&nbsp;it&nbsp;again&nbsp;I&nbsp;will&nbsp;let&nbsp;you&nbsp;know.&nbsp;&nbsp;Right&nbsp;now&nbsp;it&nbsp;appears&nbsp;the&nbsp;issue&nbsp;was&nbsp;my&nbsp;local&nbsp;file&nbsp;was&nbsp;not&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;one&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;original&nbsp;world&nbsp;map&nbsp;kit.

&nbsp;Ok,&nbsp;it&nbsp;seems&nbsp;a&nbsp;good&nbsp;news.&nbsp;I&nbsp;guess&nbsp;the&nbsp;file&nbsp;might&nbsp;be&nbsp;modified&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;past.&nbsp;  
&nbsp;If&nbsp;the&nbsp;exception&nbsp;persists&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;latest&nbsp;wmk&nbsp;files,&nbsp;please&nbsp;let&nbsp;us&nbsp;know.&nbsp;
