James,
I’ve an issue with that new version …
The version I have deployed to my customer is 3.1.302.
The version you are providing me is 3.1.299.72
InstallShield is not deploying the new version because the version number is lower than the existing on end user desktops.
I definitively need a 3.1.3xx with xx bigger than 02.
Regards,
Patrick.
Patrick,
Sorry for inconvenience.
After 3.1.299, we make the two branches and make the rule for the version number, one is for bug fixing that we use 3.1.299.x, the x is from 1 to 999, the other one is for new feature that we use 3.1.xxx, the xxx is the number start with 299 and keep increasing.
So when we fix your previous bug, we shouldn’t send the 3.1.302 to you, but at that time the new rule was not carrying out, there was no 3.1.299.02 or 3.1.299.03, so I have no choice just can send 3.1.302 to you.
If you have to the version 3.1.3xx with xx bigger than 02, I can contact our Support and send a new package to you. But after that, you still will encounter the same trouble as this time.
Thanks
James
James,
After testing 3.1.299.72 on the same PC that did not work with the previous version I now get a different exception, but still an exception.
Please note that this exception occurs only when I set the tile on
System.ArgumentException: Le paramètre n’est pas valide.

James,
I finaly found the difference between PC where MS works and PC where MS crash … it has to do with the screen DPI.
If you set the screen resolution to 120 DPI, then all the tiling system crashes.
Please make a test and provide me a fixed version.
(I think it’s the same issue than gis.thinkgeo.com/Support/DiscussionForums/tabid/143/aff/21/aft/6787/afv/topic/afpgj/3/Default.aspx#14776)
Regards,
Patrick.
