Hello,

We&nbsp;geocode&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;address:

5371&nbsp;laurel&nbsp;canyon&nbsp;blvd,&nbsp;valley&nbsp;village&nbsp;ca

&nbsp;

It&nbsp;comes&nbsp;up&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;#2&nbsp;result,&nbsp;behind&nbsp;5371&nbsp;Laurel&nbsp;Avenue,&nbsp;Forestville,&nbsp;CA

&nbsp;

Why&nbsp;is&nbsp;this&nbsp;result&nbsp;#1&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;one&nbsp;that&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;correct&nbsp;street&nbsp;and&nbsp;correct&nbsp;city&nbsp;name?

Ryan,&nbsp;  
&nbsp;&nbsp;  
&nbsp;I&nbsp;have&nbsp;tested&nbsp;your&nbsp;address&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;Geocoder,&nbsp;I&nbsp;found&nbsp;the&nbsp;problem&nbsp;is&nbsp;caused&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;street&nbsp;name&nbsp;contains&nbsp;two&nbsp;words&nbsp;that&nbsp;each&nbsp;word&nbsp;“laurel”&nbsp;or&nbsp;“canyon”&nbsp;could&nbsp;found&nbsp;matching&nbsp;result,&nbsp;so&nbsp;that&nbsp;it&nbsp;returns&nbsp;some&nbsp;results&nbsp;which&nbsp;we&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;expect.&nbsp;  
&nbsp;&nbsp;  
&nbsp;I&nbsp;don’t&nbsp;know&nbsp;if&nbsp;we&nbsp;could&nbsp;fix&nbsp;it&nbsp;soon,&nbsp;the&nbsp;workaround&nbsp;is&nbsp;that&nbsp;you&nbsp;can&nbsp;attach&nbsp;the&nbsp;zip&nbsp;code&nbsp;so&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;results&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;restricted&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;area,&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;“5371&nbsp;laurel&nbsp;canyon&nbsp;blvd,&nbsp;valley&nbsp;village&nbsp;ca,&nbsp;91607”&nbsp;it&nbsp;will&nbsp;return&nbsp;the&nbsp;exact&nbsp;result.&nbsp;
