# How I can restyle MapTools.PanZoomBar?

&nbsp;Hello&nbsp;friends.

I&nbsp;want&nbsp;to&nbsp;restyle&nbsp;existing&nbsp;design&nbsp;of&nbsp;PanZoomBar.&nbsp;I&nbsp;want&nbsp;to&nbsp;create&nbsp;own&nbsp;design.&nbsp;How&nbsp;I&nbsp;can&nbsp;do&nbsp;this?

Hi&nbsp;Yura,

Usually,&nbsp;Skinning&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;way&nbsp;to&nbsp;completely&nbsp;replace&nbsp;the&nbsp;look&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Silverlight&nbsp;control.&nbsp;In&nbsp;order&nbsp;to&nbsp;do&nbsp;that,&nbsp;you&nbsp;have&nbsp;to&nbsp;define&nbsp;new&nbsp;template&nbsp;and&nbsp;set&nbsp;it&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;control.template&nbsp;property.&nbsp;The&nbsp;attached&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;simple&nbsp;demo&nbsp;about&nbsp;how&nbsp;to&nbsp;re-define&nbsp;the&nbsp;template&nbsp;for&nbsp;PanZoomBar.&nbsp;From&nbsp;that,&nbsp;we&nbsp;know&nbsp;the&nbsp;steps&nbsp;as&nbsp;following:  
1.&nbsp;Define&nbsp;the&nbsp;new&nbsp;controltemplate&nbsp;for&nbsp;PanZoomBarMapTool.  
2.&nbsp;Assign&nbsp;the&nbsp;new&nbsp;controltemplate&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;built-in&nbsp;PanZoomBarMapToll&nbsp;via&nbsp;the&nbsp;map's&nbsp;property.  
Note:&nbsp;Please&nbsp;don't&nbsp;remove&nbsp;any&nbsp;element&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;control&nbsp;template,&nbsp;because&nbsp;some&nbsp;events&nbsp;are&nbsp;attached&nbsp;to&nbsp;these&nbsp;canvas.
