Hi,

this extension is very interesting, above all the drive time feature. I'd like to know if it's possible to generate also isodistance polygons and how I can integrate the routing capabilities with Map Suit Web 3.0 using Google/Yahoo/... maps without having a rtg file.

It should be very helpful if you have any example.

Thanks in advance,

Fabio

Fabio,

If you have the Rtg file you can create the polygon and then project it to overlay it onto Google maps or yahoo maps. We have that kind of integration. Without the Rtg file we can’t create the distance polygon. We have no access to Google or Yahoo maps underlying data to build the polygon off of. I hope that answers your question, I think I understood it properly. Let me know if I was mistaken.

Thanks David,
and what about isodistances? Are they supported by Map Suite Routing Extension?

Fabio,

The attachment is a sample (RoutingServiceAreaDemo.zip) about how to generate an isoDistance using MapSuite Routing. Please let us know whether it is what you want.
