# Land Mass Color

Hi,

&nbsp;&nbsp;How&nbsp;can&nbsp;I&nbsp;change&nbsp;the&nbsp;color&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;land&nbsp;mass&nbsp;areas&nbsp;(terrain)&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;map?&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;working&nbsp;to&nbsp;improve&nbsp;the&nbsp;display&nbsp;for&nbsp;color&nbsp;blind&nbsp;users.&nbsp;

You&nbsp;just&nbsp;talked&nbsp;about&nbsp;the&nbsp;color&nbsp;change&nbsp;for&nbsp;area&nbsp;shape?&nbsp;If&nbsp;that,&nbsp;it&nbsp;is&nbsp;easy&nbsp;to&nbsp;do,&nbsp;please&nbsp;refer&nbsp;the&nbsp;LoadAShapeFileFeatureLayer.cs&nbsp;sample&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;HowDoISamples,&nbsp;you&nbsp;can&nbsp;see&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;code&nbsp;for&nbsp;setting&nbsp;the&nbsp;color&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;area&nbsp;shape&nbsp;file:

`            worldLayer.ZoomLevelSet.ZoomLevel01.DefaultAreaStyle = AreaStyles.CreateSimpleAreaStyle(GeoColor.SimpleColors.Transparent, GeoColor.FromArgb(100, GeoColor.SimpleColors.Green));`&nbsp;&nbsp;You&nbsp;can&nbsp;change&nbsp;the&nbsp;color&nbsp;easily&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;CreateSimpleAreaStyle&nbsp;method,there&nbsp;are&nbsp;two&nbsp;parameters&nbsp;to&nbsp;set&nbsp;the&nbsp;color,&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;parameter&nbsp;is&nbsp;for&nbsp;fill&nbsp;brush&nbsp;color&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;second&nbsp;parameter&nbsp;is&nbsp;for&nbsp;outer&nbsp;line&nbsp;pen&nbsp;color.
