Hi Guys,

I’m using MS Desktop v7.0.0.0.

When I use GetLineOnALine to split an existing LineShape into shorter lines, the last LineShape returned is incorrect. The problem occurs when the function tries to obtain a line that starts at an existing vertex on the line and goes to the last vertex in the line. The part of the returned line between the last to vertices does not line up with the original line.

It’s always easier to see on a sample so I have attached a sample project to demonstrate the issue.

Thanks!

Steve

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your post and sample, but I am sorry to say that with the newest dlls 7.0.31.0, the red line actually could totally cover the original line, following is the pictures of our test.

Would you please get the latest version 7.0.31.0 and try it again?

if you have any more question , please feel free to let us know.

Best Regards

Summer

Hi Summer,

Thanks for your reply. We are trying to stay with the more stable production builds. I tried with 7.0.0.30 and it works fine.

Thanks!
