Hi,

we have a webforms application using the map control on several pages. Now we want to move the whole project to MVC and AngularJS. We can not do this in one big step, it has to be several small steps (releases).
How can this be done regarding the license? We have a licensed Web Edition.

Best regards
Helmut

Hi Helmut,

The WebEdition map control is a [Asp.net](http://Asp.net) Postback control, if would like to apply it to a Mvc project, I guess you need to use MvcEdition map control instead, as they have different way to render the map to HTML. Is it possible to show us a public address of your application, maybe we can have check how steps you need if moving to Mvc and AngularJS.

Thanks,

Johnny

Hi Johnny,

thanks for the quick reply.
Sorry, I’m not able to give you a public link as the product is licensed by itself.
Basically it uses the map control on 6 aspx - pages with up to 2000 points on it.
We also want to redesign it so at the end it will be probably 3 MVC pages.
As this will take about 1 year, we will need both MVC and WebForms for that period.
Is there a combi license package?
What can you offer us there?

Best Regards
Helmut
