How convert an AreaBaseShape to LineShape ?

Hi Laurent, 
  
 Do you means you want to convert the edge of a area shape to line shape? 
  
 If so, you can convert it to polygon and get the outer-ring of it. Then remove the start vertex or end vertex, it will be a line.
