Adding marker

Is there a way to add marker to the map at specific country based on the country code.I had seen demos for placing marker based on the latitude and longitude.My requirement is to add a marker and on click of marker need to make an ajax call and open up a dialog with information specific to the clicked point.Can somebody suggest the best way to do it.

Here attached  is sample and please have a try to see if it fits your requirements. Only difference is
this sample using hover event  to open a popup rather than AJAX call, any problems or questions please feel free to let us know

Hi Johny,

I tried the solution you shared with country names like India,China etc but the marker didn’t get loaded.Is there something iam missing.My screenshot after entering the country name is attached.

Thanks for let us know your question.



From the error, it looks you are using Map Suite Web Edition Server dlls, so you should want to install “Map Suite Web Edition Server License Tool” for this version. 



If you reference incorrect version, please switch to Map Suite Web Edition dlls.
