There is a new project in our Code Community code.thinkgeo.com that shows how to have the size of a style varying according to the scale of the map. The idea is to have the style getting bigger as you zoom in. You can check this out at code.thinkgeo.com/projects/s...imagestyle. This project was done using the Services edition but that style could be used with any other version of Mapsuite.
