Hello,
In our application, the user needs to be able to scroll to the west, from the United States to Asia. With our normal base map, we accomplish this by adding a ShapeFileFeatureLayer where the .FeatureSource.Projection is set to an OffsetProjection where the .Offset = 360.
We are experimenting using Bing or Google maps for the coming release, and I need to incorporate this ability with those maps bases. Right now the maps end at 180 degrees, in the middle of the Pacific, and are scroll-able by moving to the east, through Europe.
Is there a way to attach at 180 and allow the west scroll, as we are already doing, with Bing maps?
Thanks,
Dib
Bing Maps and Offsets
Hi Dib,
This function named WrapDateline.
I am sorry it should only work for featurelayer and rasterlayer. Bing, Google and OpenStreetMap don’t support that.

Don
Is it not supported by the map makers, or ThinkGeo? Is it something that ThinkGeo can add in the future?
Hi Dib,
This function is provided by Thinkgeo, because we will calculate and handle the tile image for wrapdateline.
I think we don’t have a plan to add this for network basemap like Bing and Google in near future, but if you need them, please contact the sales, you can get more detail information about whether it can be a professional service.

Don
