Can't see Popup text

I know the Map is trying to show something because the size of the pop-up changes based on how long the text value is. I can see the Bubble outline but I don’t see the text (maybe its a forecolor/backcolor problem?).

Here is what the MapSuite 9 How Do I Sample for Add a Popup looks like:

Hi Michael,

We create a popup sample to test popup overlay, it works fine.

Please check whether you set the text color, we guess you hadn’t set all the popup options correct.

Hi Don,

My issue is with MapSuite 9 for Xamarin Forms.

FYI, I am referencing MapSuiteFormsEdition (v9.0.708) and MapSuitePortableCore (v9.0.736).

We create a Xamarin Forms sample to test popup with version 9.0.708.0, and it works fine.

Hi Don,

Thank you for the standalone solution. It works (as advertised). But I still cannot see popups using the How Do I sample or my own solution. When I get some time, I will try to do a deep-dive comparing your working sample and the other non-working samples. Maybe its a Style problem; maybe its a difference in the packages used; maybe its a difference in the version of Xamarin Forms.
