Hi Guys - here is my question of the day:
I have map data in decimal degrees and would like to experiment with loading this into a layer over a google maps overlay - but i need to get the coordinates converted from decimal degrees to meters to do this. Is there any utility, code sample or anything you could point me to? I realize that there will probably be projection issues with this.

We have a Code Community project that shows how to display a point in decimal degrees (longitude/latitude) onto Google Map that uses Spherical Mercator projection. In this project, we show the example of a single GPS location. You will need the same projection parameters as you will find in this example for any other layers to project to Google Map.
