Customized display on map

I am making a desktop application using C# in .net 2005 and mapSUite3.0, i have displayed a map and cities are displayed on map... i have placed checkboxes in my applicaiton with their citynames,i want to highlight the selcted city on map either bold it's name or text style differnt

That would be easy to highlight some specified features! We have a similar sample as following:
 
HowDoIsamples\Dynamic Shapes\Highlight A feature on the Map
 
While this sample is applied to an area type!
