CustomZoomLevels and Google/Bing Maps

I'm trying to allow users to set CustomZoomLevels to allow for close zooming which the default ZoomLevels 1-20 doesn't seem to allow.  All is working fine except for the inclusion of any Google or Bing maps.  I'm assuming this has to do with the ZoomLevels for those particular layers (Google, Bing)?  Is it possible to use CustomZoomLevels and still allow Google and Bing layers?  Sorry if I totally missed something, I'm new to the ThinkGeo Controls/API.

 Welcome to the Map Suite discussion forum. 
 Just as you guessed, the particular layers don’t allow the custom zoom levels whose scales aren’t included in the scale list they provided.  For instance, the Google maps server just caches the images for 1~20 specified scale, so we are unable to get the images with custom scales. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the reply Johnny, would the same apply to your WorldData or the new OpenStreetMap? I'm looking at offering some type of Base Map data for our clients but they rely heavily on shape files and need to be able to zoom in closer than what these base maps offer (ZoomLevel1 - Street Level). Any ideas on best practices to implement something like this?

As far as I know, the particular maps, such as Bing map, Google Map, Yahoo map, OpenStreetMap and our online WorldMapKit WMS server, just support the settled zoom levels.  If they heavily on shape files and want to zoom in closer, I think you can use the Map Suite World Map Kit product to render by yourself, please get detail from gis.thinkgeo.com/Products/Ex...fault.aspx . Sorry for the inconvenience.
