Display Raster

Hello,


I've already asked you about this in the topic "Marker", but as it's totally different, I post a new topic.


I notice an issue while I try to display a raster with the version 4.5 (4.5.0.3):


I join a sample. If you test it: you'll see that the raster sometimes  disappears: try to zoom or pan around the image. When the image disappears, there is a message like: "the key was not in the dictionnary".


With the file testRaster.png, there is no problem, with testRaster2.png or testRaster2.tif, there is the problem.


Could you look that please?

When does a stable version with this fixed bug could be available to use in production?



I have another question:



I'm trying to export the map extent with getBitmap(). I use the GoogleMapsLayer. But with it I have some watermarks  anywhere on the map ("Imagery 2011 NASA Terrametrics" ). I have'nt them with GoogleOverlay, the informations about images sources are on the left bottom. Could I delete them? Is it a problem with the licence Key?

The next public release is on the May 1st, 2011. You can get the complete description from wiki.thinkgeo.com/wiki/Map_Suite_Release_Cycle_Guide. Technically a daily build assembly is not good for production as we don't have a thothrough test, but if you have a complete test and make sure it works fine for all your requirements, maybe that's not a big deal to distribute with it.  We just add features or fix bugs, not doing crazy things on it:)


 


The GoogleMapsLayer and GoogleOverlay works differently. The former is using GoogleMaps Static APIs while the latter is using GoogleMaps JavaScript APIs. For GoogleMapsLayer we get the images tile by tile and the watermark stamps on each tile. If you are a premier user of GoogleMaps, as there is fewer size limit so you can get a bigger tile, which means you can get fewer watermarks on GoogleMaps. (If requrest by single tile you will only get one watermark), but we cannot completely remove it. 





We tried your WebEdition 4.5.0.3 and get the bitmap with markers succesfully. Here is our code so can you have a try?
