Drag and Drop from outside source

I am wondering if there is functionality and/or samples available for the Web Edition to drag an icon or image from an outside control onto the map and have the ability to create a marker at the position it’s dropped.

Hi Jesse, 



We don’t have a functionality or sample for this scenario.  



But I think you can implement that by write script code. It’s not easy, you need implement your own drag scripts and add marker to our map on client side by some mouse event. I think we have some topics in forum talk about that, for example: thinkgeo.com/forums/MapSuite/tabid/143/aft/7855/Default.aspx
