Export Formats

Hello everyone,


I would like to know if it's possible to export the map data in these formats :



        
  • KML

    •     
  • GML

    •     
  • MID/MIF

Hi Pierre-Antoine,


Currently, ThinkGeo products don’t provide functions to export map data into the formats you mentioned. But we support loading KML and TAB files. Please check the following links for more information:

   As Ivan mentioned we do not have a built in export feature however I think building an export to KML and GML would not be too difficult.  MID/MIF is another story as it is more involved.  If this is something you are interested in we can add it to our enhancements list and people can vote on it for the upcoming release.  If you need this quickly we also have professional services that can help.

Thank you for your reply. I need these exports fast enough, but another developer has already made ​​the exports from a shapefile using GDAL.



But I think the other might be interested in these exports, so the vote could be established.

   I went ahead and added it to the Enhancement Tracker.  It will take a day or two for it to show online but after that it will be open to be voted on.
