FDO Extension Assembly not found

Hi,


I have been trying to build some sample application that load ADF files.  I viewed and downloaded the video on FDO formats from the support site; however, I've not been able to get the sample app working.


The error is always:


"Could not find MapSuiteFdoExtension.dll assembly"


In the sample app, I have updated the project references with my 5.5.0 libraries and included FdoExtension library.  And I can verify that I do have in C:\Windows\System32 the directory called Map Suite 5.5 in which there are x64 and x86 sub directories.


I have also tried making the project run in x86 mode with the same error.


What else do I need to do to get the sample app running.

I think this might be a problem with the sample application, we don't have a MapSuiteFdoExtension.dll assembly.this is named FdoExtension.dll now.
 
So please make sure you use all the 5.5 reference.
 
And second is you need the MapSuitefdoExtensionx86 folder in your System32 folder.
 
Libaries for Fdo Data Feature Support.(The whole folder must be copied to the SYSTEMROOT\)
 Map Suite 5.5\MapSuiteFdoExtensionX86\ 
Map Suite 5.5\MapSuiteFdoExtensionX64\

 Thanks.  It turns out that the files that were in the System32 directory were from my evaluation edition.  Once I copied the directory from my licensed copy to System32, it worked just fine.
