FInd features in Shape File

Hello,

I have shown several shape layers on my map example roads, suburb, railways etc.

Now what i want to do here is when user enters some longitude and latitude and name of shape layer then we have to find the feature on that location.

Ex: if i want to find what "feature" is at 28,-26 degrees in layer street_sub. it could return "albatross drive"

or in suburb layer it can return "fourways"

It sounds like that what you would need is the Geocoder product. With this product, you can use the US Street dataset from TIGER or adapt it with your own data. Please, check it out: gis.thinkgeo.com/Products/GISCompon...fault.aspx
