Google Map doesn't work in fullscreen (Mapsuite))

Hi,


As said, Google maps does not work well with Mapsuite.


To Reproduce:


1. Go to the websamples provided by Mapsuite (Included with the latest beta).


2. Do not load google map in master pages so go straight to the aspx page.


eg.  localhost:1347/Samples/Layers/UseGoogleYahooWms.aspx


3.  Select Yahoo map and Focus on a location.


4. Switch to Google maps. Notice how  it jumps to a new location ?


5. try scrolling/zomming in google maps, It does not work but it works if you switch back to yahoo map.

 This is a known bug and will be solved in the next beta which will be refreshed at the end of this month.  Just wait a couple days and you can make it work:)

 By the way what happen to the Virtual Earth ? Would it be made available ?

Yes, GoogleMap, YahooMay and Virtual Earth will be all available in the new Beta.

Since the next beta isn’t release until mid- november. can you post the solution here ?

Sorry for the delay of the new beta.  
  
 I had a try but I’m afraid there is no good solution for the existing edition. As GoogleMap/YahooMap/VirtualEarth all use a different projection which we overlooked, we need to change a lot of code to correct that. Also there is an issue about Virtual Earth integration in OpenLayers 2.6 which is one important base of our web, which makes it harder to solve that problem based on last edition.  
  
 The new Beta is with the latest OpenLayers 2.7 which solves that VE integration issue. Also we have worked a lot on the projection stuff to make GoogleMap/YahooMap/VirtualEarth work right. I recommend you to wait for the new dll, which is about 1 week from now and with many new enhancements you can benefits.
