GoogleOverlay and MiniMap

Hello,

I am having several issues with the GoogleOverlay and the MiniMap.  I just have a couple of questions:

    
• Does this feature not work because of limitations imposed by Google, or is this possible to fix in a future release?

    
• If it's possible to fix, are there any plans to fix this in a future release, and is there an estimated timeframe that we can expect a fix?

Thanks for submitting the requirements. Yes, the MiniMap doesn’t work with Google Map, because of the limitation by Google. But we have found a workaround to resolve it now. Here is a sample gis.thinkgeo.com/Support/Dis...fault.aspx .
On November 1^st, we will have a public release, and this feature will be included. If you are urgent, we will work on it in advance, and provide a temporary DLL package to you.

 I am also having problems with the Minimap.  In my case its with Virtual Earth layer but it looks like the same problem. 
  
 I am subscribing to this thread.  Could you please post here when the fix is release so I will get an email and then can go download it?

We released the version 4.5.0 last Friday, but the new feature “MiniMap with GoogleOverlay” was unable to be embedded after a long research and discussion. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, just as I have mentioned before, it’s related to using Spherical Mercator layers with MiniMap in OpenLayer, the Sperical Mercator layers can be Google, VirtualEarth, Yahoo, OSM etc. That’s a complex issue, anyway, we will try our best to resolve it and hope the OpenLayers can give some supports in coming version.
