How ServerCache works?

 Hi,

I enable ServerCache on a WmsRasterLayer and if possible I would like to know a little much deeper how it works:

- does it sometimes clear itself to download updated images on the WMS server ?

- how images are named and classified to be found later ?

- some blank images are stored in the cache and displayed on the map (maybe because of a temporary failure of the WMS server ?) but as they are cached, the right image is never downloaded again so the blank image will allways be displayed until I delete it manually (very hard to do to find the right image), do you have an idea ?

 1, The cache will never be cleared until clearing it manually. 
 2, The images are named by the zoom level, x offset, y offset. 
 3, I think there is no data in the area of blank images, a blank image will never replace the right image in your case, right?
