When we release our website to our QA server, all of the map imagery is branded with the red "Unlicensed for Runtime" text. This prohibits us from using the site for our creative services team, who take screen-prints for training material. What configuration changes are required in order to remove this branding?
How to eliminate "Unlicensed for Runtime" branding when released to QA server
Hi Greg,
Have you checked whether you're publishing evaluation assemblies in your project ?
We had the same problem, having a licensed server display "unlicensed". When I first built the VS project, using an evaluation version of MS, and referencing the Map Suite assemblies in that copied the assemblies into the project tree. Later these got published to the server, "overshadowing" the licensed ones.
Copying the licensed assembly dll's into the project tree solved our problem.
Hi Gregory,
It is caused that you haven’t registered the Web Edition Production Web Server License on the QA server. Please use the installed tool “MapSuiteRegistrationBuilder.exe” to complete that. Please contact support@thinkgeo.com and tell what you have encountered if you haven’t had a license yet.
Thanks,
Johnny

Thanks for your reply. It will be a little different between Evaluation and Full without server licensed. The before one will show the unlicensed for each tile, however, the last one will show “Unlicensed for Runtime”. The first issue can be figured out by what you mentioned, and the second one needs to resolved with the help of “MapSuiteRegistrationBuilder.exe”.
Thanks again.
Johnny
