How to get access to client side api

How do we access the client side api, there is not documentation or examples of this.  For example how do we access the open layers map control. Found a way in the previous beta, but u changed it i guess.  So we need a standard way to access the client side api?

 We use some client APIs in samples but we don’t have their documentation in current version (3.0.117). In the coming version, we’ll provide the documents for the client API we created, as well as a link which leads you to the documentation of OpenLayers APIs. I think that will help you a lot use the client APIs.
