How to merge layers in a new shapefile

Hi, i just wanna know if there's any method to merge two or more layers in a new shapefile. I mean, if i can export the layers loaded in my map to a new file (shp).

 Welcome you ThinkGeo forum! 
  
 I am sorry to say that there is no existing API to merge shape files. But it is very easy to write our own logic to merge multiple shape files into one with our Transaction system. 
  
 One thing I want to make sure the files to be merged should be “Identical” which means the data structure in the .dbf should be exactly the same. If not, some features will lose some information. 
  
 If you are interested, can you provide us 2 or 3 shape files, we can try to write the Merge logic.
