How to provide tooltip to a location in a Google Map

I want to show tooltip of the location name using Google Map. How can I achieve this functionality.

 Thanks for your question and input. 
  
 We have a sample contained in following post shows how to do Tooltip in Desktop Map Control. Take a look if you are interested:
