Is there a simple example of how to use Bing Maps?

We have a bing maps sample in the installed folder at: /[installed directory]\HowDoISamples\CSharp Winforms\Extending MapSuite\UseMicrosoftMapsLayer.cs.
 
Before using this sample, please register an applicationId for using bing maps service and replace it in our sample code.
microsoft.com/maps/
