Hi,



It could be very cool to have a layer method that one could use to indicate a column/value  used to dissolve all the shapes based on the column/value!

I like the idea of the GIS editor but I dont like the fact that is not web based!

The dissolve is not fit as a basic method of the layer based on our design structure  and it should be regards as a business function. There are some samples to implement the function in our wiki. Those samples are built on winform but easy to remove to web/mvc edition.
