Install MapSuite 2.0 and 3.0 into GAC

Hello,


Is it possible to install the MapSuite assemblies (DesktopEdition.dll and MapSuiteCore.dll) into GAC ?


When I try :


gacutil -i  DesktopEdition.dll


I get  :


Microsoft (R) .NET Global Assembly Cache Utility.  Version 1.1.4318.0

Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1998-2002. All rights reserved.


Failure adding assembly to the cache: Unknown Error


And Drag and Drop to folder assembly is not possible.
