I have a 64bit computer that I can not get mrsid images to load. Where is the proper place to install it on a 64bit operating system?
Installing mrsid images
For 64-bit Windows 7 I just copied the whole "Map Suite 6.0" folder into C:\Windows\SysWOW64. (This folder is under Map Suite Dekstop Full Edition 6.0\DeveloperReference\System32\System32.)
Allen
I have copied the map suite 60 folder to syswow64 folder and still do not work. That has worked on some computers but not this one.
Sounds like it’s time for the ThinkGeo people to take over…
Hello,
Allen, thanks for your help, you are very kind.
And TIM, are you meet “Count find MapsuiteGeoRasterX64.dll assembly” error? If it is could you please check your Map Suite 6.0 folder, is there a sub-folder named MapSuiteGeoRasterx64 and including MapsuiteGeoRasterX64.dll? If it’s not , you can find that DLL in \Program Files\ThinkGeo\Map Suite Wpf Desktop Full Edition 6.0\Developer Reference, and copy it over to Windows\SysWOW64folder.
If it’s not the exception you met, could you please give us more details? A sample can recreate the problem will be helpful.
Regards,
Gary
