Hi,
I've looked at this old thread - gis.thinkgeo.com/Support/DiscussionForums/tabid/143/aff/12/aft/5759/afv/topic/Default.aspx#9425
I'm developing solutions with Web Edition on an offline network that still utilizes Internet Explorer 6 for some contractual reasons. Unfortunately, since I've found IE6 to be completely incapable of running Map Suite based solutions.
So I was wondering whether Thinkgeo has done any (public) testing on which browsers/versions that is capable of running solutions developed with Map Suite Web Edition ? Or have some benchmarking to show what's hot and what's not ?
The company I'm working for is more-or-less a Microsoft-only shop, and multiple versions of IE cannot be installed simultneously, as far as I know. So I've installed Firefox 3.5 on the development machine, which performs nicely. And I'm thus pushing Firefox for use with Map Suite, but want to hear whether it's the best choice, and need some hard fact to break the "Microsoft wall".
Cheers.
