I hope someone can help me, I have developed an application that includes the map (web edition 3.0). I've loaded it on our webserver and it is working on all the machines that is accessing it except for one machine that is running Internet Explorer 8 ... It gives an error 'ThinkGeo is undefined'. The map is very slow on Internet Explorer 6 but on Internet Explorer 7 it is working fine.

We need more information for your issue. Please provide us the version of web edition you are using. Does the map shows with pink tiles or not in IE8? It seems that the HttpHandler is failed configed.
We don’t have any suggestions about IE6 because IE6 doesn’t support transparent background PNG images; so we have another way to fix it. I think it’s the main reason to cause the performance issue in IE6.

Hi,
I managed to get the map to load on IE8 but I cannot draw shapes on the map. As soon as I click on my point button to draw a point I get the following error: “Invalid Argument - opl_GeoResource.axd” … I assume this is a map suite page. On IE7 I have no problem in drawing shapes using the same website. Please can you test this on a IE 8? Our website’s purpose is for the end user to draw shapes and that fails on 8.

We should make sure if you are using the latest public release version 3.1.273 of MapSuite WebEdition, because we have tested the draw shape functionality and it works fine with IE 8.0 in our end. And could you please send us a simple sample to recreate this issue if it still exists in your machine when you using 3.1.273.
