Today we are excited to announce the official launch of the Map Suite Code Community. This all-new online community provides a place for Map Suite developers to share their extensions with other Map Suite users, providing new functionality, new styles and shortcuts for their Map Suite projects. Since Map Suite 3.0 was designed to be customizable and extensible, the possibilities for user-created extensions are nearly limitless!

Do you have a great idea for a Map Suite extension? Share it with the world on the Map Suite Code Community. All you need to get started is a free Code Community account. Then, send a quick email to support@thinkgeo.com and let us know a little bit about your new project and what you would like to name it. Having your own project on the Code Community will give you total control over your own:

The site will continue to grow and evolve over time as we add new features and functionality, such as a Subversion source control system. In the meantime, we've added a number of our own Map Suite extensions that we previously hosted in the Developer Blog, so it will be much easier to find them.
The Map Suite Code Community was created based on feedback from our customers and your feedback will shape its future direction. If you have constructive suggestions or comments, we would love to hear them. While we cannot always act on every suggestion, we will definitely record and review them as part of our continuous improvement process.
