Is it possible to have several overlays without text overlapping?

Hi,


When I combine 10 server layers in 1 overlay I have a good quality picture and no text overlaping. To get better functioanilty, I prefer to have 1 overlay for each layer because I am going to switch these overlays with javascript. However, I got text overlaping and applying noOverlapping rules didn't help.


Is it possible to have several overlays without text overlapping? How combine layers in overlays to get best picture and best functionality?

Thanks for your post, for this requirement, I think you can set the OverlappingRule property on zoom level. The codes as follow:

layer.ZoomLevelSet.ZoomLevel01.DefaultTextStyle.OverlappingRule = LabelOverlappingRule.AllowOverlapping;

Thank you, Gary! It seems to work only on the server side when I combine several layers in one overlay. The image are created on the server, "NoOverlapping" rule is set by default. The image is OK. However, when I have several overlays (client images) I have label overlapping.  I prefer to switch overlayes with javascript… but I have label overlapping. So, I chose to combine several layers in one overlay

 Sorry for now we don’t support multiple overlay overlapping.  The overlapping function only working with multilayer in one overlay. 
  
 You can vote this enhancement to helpdesk.thinkgeo.com/EnhancementTracker. This captures the enhancement request and provides visibility to the customer letting them know that the enhancement is on a list somewhere and that popularity of the enhancement helps set the priority of when the enhancement would be added to the product. This option doesn’t carry any cost for you.
