I think it would be great, if you could put an interface into your internal issue tracking system on the Web site.
This way :
1) We could easily report bugs and issues. It would be much easier for us to track them and get automatic emails, when the issue changes status. We could also vote for them.
2) We could add feature requests easily. We could also vote for the features to come up with something like customer driven development. You could easily see what is requested most and allocate resources accordingly.
3) We could see if and when an issue is going to be taken care of.
4) It could also serve as an issue database and their solutions / workarounds.
All above is assuming, that the community would use such a system. Of course, if people continue to use the forum for issue reports / feature requests it wouldn't be of much use.
What do you think about this proposal ?
