JScript runtime error

Hi ThinkGeo Team


I am using Map Suite Web Edition 4.5. In my web application, I am using Master page and when I try to run content page with a Map control on it, the following error message fires "Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'theForm' is undefined". Can you please give me a solution to this problem?

We didn’t recreate your problem according to your description. Here is a sample for you. You can compare it with yours. 
 
And you may upload your sample if this problem is not solved, so we can understand your problem more clearly.

Thank you for the reply. It has worked but I still have one problem. I want the map control to fill the entire content page, and therefore if I set Height and Width to 100%, it does not disply the map control but If I set it to a size in px it does.


Can you please show me how to make the map control fill the entire content page?

Glad to hear that it works. The problem caused by DOCTYPE. And all the asp.net control have the same problem. It’s easy to solve it. Just remove “DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">” from your master page.
