Label on marker issues

Hi ThinkGeo,


Some problems


1) Label on marker reduces the visible size (see attached fig) based on the sample on Markers->Label & Rotate marker. Taken websamples.thinkgeo.com


2) As a affect on 1 above, If there is popup associated and markers are close by then popup shows up even when the mouse is not over the marker. This causes confusion to the user.


3) In the sample, Text does not rotate with the marker.

Here are answers.
1.       Actually it’s a known issue. We have fix it in our new version. Websamples.thinkgeo.com haven’t updated yet.
2.       Marker is a image displaying on the map. Any image is quadrangular. The yellow circle is not a circle image. The image(except for yellow part) is transparent. So it looks like that the mouse is not over the marker, actually it is over the transparent part.
3.       Text won’t rotate. Because it will cause performance issues.

  I downloaded 4.5.101 and it solves problem 1. Anyway we don’t have reqmt for 3. 
 I will get back to 2 after I am done after more testing.
