Layers on top of OpenStreetMap

Hi,


My web app renders shapefile(s) in WGS84 projection on top of WmsOverlay which is the baselayer. Everything works great. The user now wants to change the baselayer from WMSOverlay to OpenStreetMapOverlay, but still render the shapefiles over that new baselayer. How would I go about achieving that.


 


All my efforts result in a blank background with the shapefiles rendered at a very small scale.

It's almost the same, just replace googleoverlay with openstreetmapoverlay.
