Licensing Issue

Hello,

I had been using the WPF mapping tools, version 13, in .net 7, and all was fine.
Recently, I upgraded my application to .net 9 and now I’m getting “Not Licensed for Runtime” on the map.

I’ve re-run the version 13 product suite and have created a new license file, but I’m still receiving the message. This is only happening on a production machine.

If you have any thoughts on resolving this it would be appreciated.

Regards,

Aaron

Additionally, I’ve now attempted to copy my previous .net 7 version back to the production server, with it’s license file, and it’s also now showing the message as well.

Hi Aaron,

I couldn’t recreate the issue. Here attached is a demo with ThinkGeo V13 license running on .NET 9. There’s no watermark. Please have a try.

WpfSample_V13_on_DotNet9.zip

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks for confirming Ben.

There’s no type of license caching or anything that could be causing an issue, is there?

Aaron,

We don’t cache the license, but we do cache the tiles. Make sure to clean up your cached tiles if you have any and have another try.

Also, can you remove the WpfSample.exe.mapsuitelicense file from my demo and regenerate the license file for my executable see if that works? if that doesn’t work (you see the watermark), that means the product center you are using is incorrect, please download again from https://thinkgeo.com.

If you still have questions, just send over your runtime license (mapsuitelicense file) to support@thinkgeo.com and we can make sure it’s correct or not.

Thanks,
Ben
