MAP & IE Mobile on Windows Mobile 6.1

I have been working with the trial version of the web edition and have gotten some functionality developed where points are displayed on a map and then you can select those points and edit on another screen.  Initially I had problems in IE7 and had to remove the DOCTYPE from the .aspx page because I was getting a blank page.

I have since got all that working and I decided to try and render it on my Trimble Windows Mobile 6.1 device using IE Mobile.  Well, now I get a blank screen there too but I don't see any script errors.  I do see it download 1200Kb roughly and then I end up with just a blank screen.  Anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

The default browser on Windows Mobile only handles a subset of JavaScript, and script errors are NOT reported.
