Map only show "Unlicensed" in debug mode

I am using v4.0 Win Forms Map control  with Visual Studio 2008. When I run a simple app containing the map control in debug mode, the map control only displays the word "Unlicensed" and does not show the map contents. In non-debug mode, it seem to work fine. I was able to replicate this with the samples project as well. We have a purchased and licensed version of MapSuite Desktop.

 I think the problem is probably you did not install the package on the environment or did not install it correctly on your environment. Please contact our support (support@thinkgeo.com) to make it sure. Sorry for the inconvenience for now.

I emailed the issue to support but haven't gotten a reply yet.


When you say that it didn't install properly, what do you mean? I didn't get any errors during install and i can run apps with the control without any problems. I just have this issue when I run the app in debug  mode.

I am sorry for causing you the inconvenience, now we are in the process of moving our office from Lawrence to Frisco, I have sent an email too to notice our support to focus on the issue as soon as possible if he was free.

Uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times seems to have fixed the issue.
