Thanks to all of you for your continued opinions and experiences with the recently-released Map Suite Desktop Edition RC2. Based on the bugs you've reported, we've made a number of fixes and have issued a refresh of the Desktop Edition this afternoon. Version 3.0.426 is now available for download.
Here's what we changed in the refresh:
- Added the ReadOnly logic to the ClearCache and DeleteTile methods.
- Added schema support in PostgreFeatureSource.
- Added API overloads for the GetFeaturesByColumnValue method.
- Fixed issues with the ZoomToPreviousExtent and ToggleExtents APIs.
- Fixed issue where BuildIndex does not function properly for projection.
- Fixed issue where the ScreenBitmapTile should be disposed in the Refresh() method.
- Fixed issue where GetRandomColor would always get the same color.
- Fixed issue where CloneDeep of InMemoryFeatureSource does not work.
- Fixed issue where InMemoryFeatureSource cannot be serialized correctly.
- Fixed issue where the parent layer cannot be parsed in WMS Server.
- Fixed issue where OutOfMemory occurs during drawing.
- Fixed issue regarding support of the Geography type data in MsSqlFeatureSource.
- A small number of breaking API changes. See the API change log for complete details.
To update your evaluation edition, simply download and install a new copy from our Evaluation Downloads page. If you've purchased Map Suite Desktop Edition, login to the Customer Portal to download an updated copy.
