Anil,
Can you still get this error message today?
I review Websamples.thinkgeo.com ==>Ovberlays=>User Google map and everything looks well.

Anil,
If you still get this error, could you please let us know your browser environment so that we can try to reproduce it.

Don
Hi Don,
I think it (Thinkgeo samples and our application that had Google overlay as base overlay ) started working back again after 30-40 minutes. Perhaps Google MAP api server was’t not available during that time window.
My question our application does not have Google map ovrlay as the Active base overlay but has our WSM overlay.
Is it possible to make the application fault tolerant if the non-active base overlay is not working/available ?

Anil
Anil,
The isse you found should be caused by download the Google’s JS library fail, I think if you don’t want to get this error when Google Overlay is not the working baseOverlay, you can set it as invisibled.
Sorry I cannot test that because I haven’t reproduced your issue local, I put the online sample page there more than 2 hours.
If I misunderstand your question please let me know.
Regards,
Don
