MapSuite Web Edition Internet Connection Requirements

Hi,


I'm testing some of the samples in a web app on a work station with no internet connection but the locally stored maps do not render on the browser. Is it a pre-requisite that an internet connection is available for the control to work.


When the internet connection is turned it works fine. [This is related to a deployment concern].


I have noticed that there is some http modules defined in the web.config.


Is this the issue?


If so is there a work around that will allow us to use the control without an internet connection

 Sure, several samples in Web app are based on online server, such as GoogleOverlay, VirtualEarthOverlay, YahooOverlay and the WMSOverlay samples. All of them request the images from third part map server. But most of the samples based on our own Drawing Engine, and there is no internet connection requirements for them. 
  
 There is no relationship between "Internet Connection Requirements" and "Http Modules setting in Web.config". If we want it to work fine, a workaround is setting proxy in web.config.
